Thank you for choosing SimplyBoat. We strive to ensure your experience with us is exceptional. If, however, you find yourself unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer a refund policy to address your concerns.

Refunds

Refunds will be provided under the following circumstances:

  • If the boat rental was not fulfilled due to the hoster’s failure to provide the boat or if the boat provided does not match the description outlined in the rental agreement.

Return Process

If you encounter any issues as described above, please follow these steps to initiate the refund process:

  • Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team at contact@simplyboat.co. Provide details regarding the discrepancy between the rental agreement and the boat received.
  • Documentation: Ensure you have proof of the hoster’s failure to secure the boat for your rental or evidence demonstrating that the boat did not match the description provided in the rental agreement.
  • Return of Rental Package: Customers should return the rental package to the designated host location.
  • Return Logistics: You are responsible for arranging the return of the boat to the designated host location. We recommend coordinating with the hoster for the safe return of the boat.

Refund Process

If you are initiating a return due to dissatisfaction with your rental experience or if the hoster failed to provide the boat as agreed, the refund process will be initiated upon verification of the provided documentation. Please allow up to thirty (30) days from the receipt of your returned item or claim for the refund to be processed. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. You will receive an email notification once your refund has been processed.

In cases where you are unable to return a rental package due to the hoster’s failure to provide the boat, we will still initiate the refund process upon verification of the provided documentation. Our team may request additional information or evidence to support your claim. We are committed to ensuring that you are fairly compensated for any inconvenience caused by the unfulfilled rental.

Damages Incurred by Renters

In the event that the rented boat incurs damages during the rental period due to actions or negligence by the renter, the hoster reserves the right to charge the renter for the repair or replacement costs. These charges will be deducted from the security deposit, if applicable, or billed separately to the renter. Please refer to the rental agreement for details regarding liability and damages.

In cases of defective or damaged products, please contact us immediately to arrange for a refund or exchange.
